XFX 7950 Xtreme voltage controller

I understand the XFX cards are overclocked, however...

Does anyone know if these cards use the reference voltage controller? If so, is it modified in any way to allow for higher voltages/OC?

I'd like to voltage mod one of these but I wasn't sure if it was already done.
 
FYI, using Cool Bits reg edit and running the optimizer in the overclocking section of the nvidia control panel automatically puts my card at 550 & 700 with little to no increase in heat output. I have the BFG but I think it works for all the 7950's.

Hmm... what would be the point of the voltage mod if it wasn't necessary, then? :confused:
