Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The underlying problem (As I've said many times now) is because of the development time, you have old systems underneath new systems underneath newer systems, and what you have is an unmaintainable mess.
Star Citizen will never release, not because of any technical reason (though I can...
FYI, if you can get it to run, the original PC Crimson Skies still holds up decently well. From what I recall it had graphical issues that necessitated the SW renderer though...
As others have said: Its CA so its best to remain cautious. They are saying the right things at least, and I think there's the understanding that they've been in a rut for a while now.
Basically the same; once you get behind them they really have no way to escape that you can't counter.
And yes, there really isn't any way to make it good within the way the controls are designed. The fights are basically just a skill check on your piloting abilities.
Unlike Final Fantasy, which has tried a number of times to evolve (and I would argue totally lost the plot), Dragon Quest is what it is; you either like it or don't. It's certainly improved around the margins, but the core experience isn't that fundamentally different then it was 40 years ago...
Considering one of the reasons why SNK failed the first time was they spread their limited resources too thin...I ask how they expect this to turn a profit for them?
Here's what I've found over the past year or so (professional Software Engineer speaking):
AIs are *really* good when you ask them for solutions to well understood and well defined problems. Where it starts to fall flat is if you ask for something that is impossible, in which case it will...
Well, 8 was Microsofts attempt to unify its interfaces and try to make Windows Phone a thing. After that, 10 started the trend where Microsoft would force updates, because it found people on 7 tended to delay forever, leaving security holes unpatched that were used in various cyberattacks. So...
Yeah, I've tried Xenonauts from time to time; there's nothing "wrong" with it, but I just miss some of the QoL stuff (like Ammo being infinite instead of needing to remember to purchase some) newer games give. The issue is basically if I'm going to play an updated original XCOM...I'll just play...
Yeah, I would have preferred that jump bug got fixed at some point. That one fight in the House of Hope I always have multiple saves because of jump headbonks on the ceiling.
I'm going to (again) hold Itanium was a well designed CPU architecture, but was let down by early compilers and the fact that most developers weren't used to having to thread well (since multi-core CPUs weren't really a thing yet). Itanium got better as time went on and the toolsets matured...
The only time I've ever had problems with motherboards specifically was back when NVIDIA was still making them for Intel.
To me, it's basically just feature set vs cooling vs cost.
