FS: Razer Copperhead Mouse (Anarchy Red) - Brand New!

Bought it from Razer directly, tried to cancel the order (went with another mouse) before it arrived to no avail. Tried to return it when it arrived (because I didn't want it), to no avail. Razer's customer service is horrid. So, it's literally brand new and unused. I opened it and plugged...

FPS Titles Down the Drain/Industry Direction: What To Look Forward To & What's Next?

UT3 (potential huge title, a disaster as far as 99% of people are concerned, including myself), Soldier of Fortune: Payback (turned out to be worse than horrid in every aspect), TimeShift and BlackSite: Area 51 (which I was looking forward to, but both too linear and generic)... what's left to...

Forget Crysis and COD4, where is Soldier of Fortune: Payback?!?!

Yeah, it's a bit "generic" in terms of not really offering anything different than any other MP FPS, but it's really the aesthetic of SoF that makes is so enjoyable. The one thing is does offer that's different is the over-the-top gore, which makes killing all-the-more satisfying and fun, and...

FPS Enemy Preference: Aliens/Creatures vs Human

Haha, "flying things and crawling fast stuff"... just sounded hysterical the way I heard that in my head ;) I can understand that, though. Depending on how the gameplay is, sometimes those things can be seriously annoying. Though, if done right, it can offer far more interesting gameplay even...

FPS Enemy Preference: Aliens/Creatures vs Human

Absolutely, but it's not meant to be about whether or not they can both done right in the same game, just which is your personal preference in general. Personally, while I love blowing the hell out of people and games such as SoF etc, I have to say that creatures/zombies etc. nudges out...

FPS Enemy Preference: Aliens/Creatures vs Human

I'm narrowing this down to the FPS genre, since so many other genres focus on non-human enemies as it is, and the FPS genre tends to offer some extremes in this area. What's your preference in terms of enemies in the FPS genre? Of course, this depends on what types of FPS styles you're...

Forget Crysis and COD4, where is Soldier of Fortune: Payback?!?!

I think just about anything is far more forgiving than Crysis, heh, though I can run it fine. It's just a beast of a game. I believe all the "usual": ctf, dm, tdm... and, you know... basically just kill everyone you see as brutally as possible ;)

    Recommended driver for Crysis, 169.09

Ah, with old beta drivers, but I don't use beta drivers, hence why I probably don't have that problem ...and why I don't like using beta drivers ;)

    Recommended driver for Crysis, 169.09

I never noticed any problems with any "water reflection update rate", but things are different for everyone depending on driver, GPU and other system specs. If it's a some kind of bug that's been confirmed as being in the game app itself, I've not had an issue with it. But if it helps some...

    Recommended driver for Crysis, 169.09

General suggestion: don't immediately install a new driver just because it's posted as "recommended" or an "update", because I've found that I've been able to use the same drivers w/o updating and have had no problems with a single game, from HL2 to the Crysis demo. Beta drivers, especially...

Forget Crysis and COD4, where is Soldier of Fortune: Payback?!?!

Heh heh, well I must agree fully. I've waiting for this for a long time, and it looks as if it's going to pay-off. Cant say I'll be skipping-out on Crysis by any means, but SoF3 is a serious priority. The gibbing... the gibbing...:D;) With a solid team as well (i.e. a good clan) I...

    Crysis Review

If you're referring strictly to the MP between both, I'm sure that'd be the case, but the single-player is where it's at with Crysis and it's main focus, which Crytek has pulled-off phenomenally. Even just from the demos alone, I wasn't impressed with CoD4, and it doesn't even come close to...

    Mouse recommendations

I'd highly recommend the Logitech G5. Extremely accurate, on-the-fly DPI change that works perfectly without any software and is extremely accurate, excellent performance and has the unique feature of a cartridge that slides into the bottom in which you can place different weights (about nine...

    Crysis Review

IGN: http://pc.ign.com/articles/834/834614p1.html We'll all know for ourselves tomorrow, but seems like the game indeed offers all I personally thought it would, considering I played the demo itself more than some full-length games due to all the aspects of graphics, gameplay, etc. and all it...

Cloth Mousepads Dead? All I hear about are hard surface

Interesting topic... though it really all comes down to preference. As a life-long hardcore gamer though (including some competitive), I can say that from my experience, I prefer cloth pads. I recently tried a hard mouse pad (Razer eXactMat) for a while, and was nothing but a pain. I went...
