by quite a ways, you mean 7-9 months MAX right? I'd wait... that SLI will run anything in high res for now. Save up and get a new CPU when you get the DX10 card

What about the fact that this chip is at lease 6 months out and they were benching it against an AMD chip that is 4 months OLD.

Sure... if you want your PC should explode!

http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=907 Looks like a nice single-slot GPU to mash on ATI with. But only 24 pipelines????? I figured it would have more than the old 7800 series.

why not jusy ebay or craigs list them?

just save the bill and get the cheaper 6800... or maybe a used 6 series or x850 on ebay

is it as good as vapochill?

Anyone hear a release date for the sub-$300 phasechange unit from OCZ??? Heres a preview, but I can't find anything more http://www.legitreviews.com/article/282/1/

I mentioned the lack of Anti-cheat I think, but youre right... the MP is a joke with 1/4 of the ppl cheating. If they aren't going to fix it, then why NOT cheat? This needs a fix fast.

BINGO, I agree 100% They gave the PC owners the short end here.

I agree, the engire is still a bit buggy, and now that you mention it, it IS a bit washed out looking.

Wepons balance, spawn locals, sound, and lots more. In addition, there is a grave need for anti-cheat and it would be nice to have some MOD tools for user-made maps and mods. This is not asking much, name 1 other game that hasn't had anti-cheat, tools, or even a patch in the 1st 5 months of...

Call of Duty 2... the crap of the decade. They SAID January, now it's Febuary and STILL no patch, no tools, no anti-cheat, not even an appology. I will never buy a game from Activision again... and neither should you. The PC is NOT a second-class citizen!

Actually all I want with Linux is a spyware-free alternative to Windows. I have Windows XP on one HDD and Linux on the other... it's strickly a web thing. And another thing, exactly why would I expect Linux to be magical????
