It's Febuary, and STILL no COD2 patch out!!!!

Call of Duty 2... the crap of the decade.

They SAID January, now it's Febuary and STILL no patch, no tools, no anti-cheat, not even an appology.

I will never buy a game from Activision again... and neither should you. The PC is NOT a second-class citizen!
 
Wepons balance, spawn locals, sound, and lots more. In addition, there is a grave need for anti-cheat and it would be nice to have some MOD tools for user-made maps and mods. This is not asking much, name 1 other game that hasn't had anti-cheat, tools, or even a patch in the 1st 5 months of it's life???? You can't.

Ok stuff:
Weapon Balance is great.

Whats wrong with spawn points?

Sound seems fine


Bad:
Anti-Cheat is a Plus

No New Maps


Etc:
A map where you can drive vehicles like a Tank Map or something
 
Yea, they need to optimize the engine more also. Its just way too slow sometimes in dx9.
 
everyone i talked to says that COD2 is an awesome single player game much like F.E.A.R as opposed to something like BF2 where its all about the multiplayer. Im glad i used my gig NIC *cough, played through it once and never looked back. Then i went to target and got special forces to complement my Bf2 vanilla.

I disagree completely. I thought the single player experience was quite boring. The gameplay I found to be quite unintelligent and repetitive. Nothing stimulates me more than a seemingly endless hoard of German reinforcements running directly into my gunfire.

COD 2 is just one of those games where multiplayer is where the real meat and potatoes are. Except Activision and Infinity Ward have yet to do anything significant on the multiplayer side.

They need to add Punkbuster yesterday. There's so much cheating in CoD2 right now that it's hard to find a decent game.
 
I mentioned the lack of Anti-cheat I think, but youre right... the MP is a joke with 1/4 of the ppl cheating. If they aren't going to fix it, then why NOT cheat? This needs a fix fast.
