And now I have it stable at 3600MHz -- stock timings. (16/16/16/[email protected])
Incredible that filling all the DIMMs makes that much of a variance.
*EDIT*
May have spoke too soon. Ran Memtest overnight and had a single error... No matter what I do, it finds errors on test 8 (random numbers)...
I can verify using only 4 dimms (I.e. one pack of the listed RAM) is able to achieve 3200MHz just fine.
I also think one of the 8 sticks I had was faulty. I was getting a lot of weird stutters on the system, so I decided to tinker because of that.
I may permanently downscale to 32GB (4x8gb...
Spent a few hours today tying to get beyond 2933MHz to no avail. I was trying, specifically, to get to 3200MHz. Tried pretty much every timing possibility going as high as 22/22/22/42 with no successful take.
IT would post, but would not pass memtest.
It is! I actually got lucky -- because I didn't investigate that before hand... I knew thew 3200mhz version was, so I assumed the 3600 was. Boy was I relieved when I got it installed and found out I was right.
Hello everyone --
I was curious what sorts of speeds others with the new Zenith Extreme x399 boards were getting when filling all 8 banks with 8gb sticks.
I personally bought two G.Skill 4 x 8gb kits (Sku: F4-3600C16Q-32GTZR) and currently have them running and stable @2933 MHz on stock...
I've used the Corsair M65 (I actually own one) and I didn't like it at all. The plastic in the back of the mouse not being one solid piece would cut into my hand, making it extremely uncomfortable. After long periods of gaming sessions, I would have a heavy indentation on my palm as well as skin...
Hey Hardforumers -- I need your opinion/help:
I'm kind of a peripheral nut - but ever since the Logitec G9 and G9x were discontinued I haven't been able to find a mouse that was comfortable for me. I have large hands, and loved the extra width the old G9 gave. I personally can't stand the MMO...
Thanks guys - I figured as much... I haven't kept up with the PSU world nearly as much as I have the MoBo/CPU/GPU world... Just wanted the piece of mind of other eyes confirming my hopes.
I appreciate the feedback.
I bought an extremely high end PSU in 2011 - and by all standards it still outpaces a lot of what's around today. (8 +12v rails.... mmmm...)

I've owned many of the brands that are out there today... EVGA used to be my go-to, but after two Factory OC'd cards failed because of the Overclock (I.e. I had to set everything back to factory standard specs recommended by nVidia) to stabilize it to be able to play anything... I decided to...
