Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have 2 sticks of ram currently in my pc (512mb pc3200 and 256mb pc2100) . Would it be better if I'll remove the 256 stick? also which is better? a single 1GB pc3200 stick? or 2 512mb pc3200(not dual channel)? :)
Forget the 6800 GS that's a downgrade option from that card of yours. The X850 XT is a good pick though those 2 7800 GT are much better, if I were to choose I'll get the evga.
EDIT: or if you can wait, a 7900GT would be even better at around $300 price tag.
the 40 fps is just a minimum fps while the 55fps is the maximum fps that your card can crank up. Mostly when you're playing a game, every places in it requires different processing power.
My problem is this. There are times that my PC just don't boot, no Bios flash on the screen just a monitor flash and the mobo just starts to beep I'm not really sure if it's the mobo but I just hear a beeping sound from the case, there's nothing I can do but to pull the plug. Any thoughts to fix...
If you have any doubt on some boards and chipsets get a board w/ an Intel chipset to insure its compatibility. As long as the mobo's specs says that it supports a dual core CPU it is clear that it does support it.
