I’m looking at a monitor which has a Thunderbold 3 input. Now has my laptop a usb-c output (with DisplayPort 1.2 function), but without Thunderbold. Is it still possible to connect the laptop by these ports? So from the usb-c output of the laptop to the Thunderbold 3 input of the monitor...
I have a Dell Latitude 5400 laptop (Intel UHD Graphics 620).
The laptop has:
- usb-c connection with DisplayPort 1.2 function, but with no thunderbolt 3!
- HDMI 1.4 connection
Is it possible to connect a dual monitor setup to this (both 2560x1440, 60Hz), by connection one monitor to the usb-c...
slavie yeah I have a usb-c port with DP-port 1.2 (which should be able to get 3440x1440 at 60Hz).
The optional here is the Thunderbold 3... but I don’t have that... just USB-type-C 3.1 with DisplayPort (1.2).
And it’s indeed HDMI 1.4... so that’s not the ideal situation.
