Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Or just use a different gamma mode. Because according to good reviews of the 24" one there is nothing wrong with gamma in the right mode. I would assume this would be the same? Dunno. :)
How can adjusting contrast in the Nvidia Control Panel affect the monitors backlight? Only the brightness control on the monitor affects that.
3H is hardness and AFAIK all matte coatings are that. It does not tell you how grainy or thick a coating is. This will surely be similar to the PG278Q if it uses the same panel.
I've got one of these at work. Just use it for boring stuff like browsing the internet, Office etc. but it works nicely and is cracking value for money. The pixel density is really nice in my opinion.
Well I can't see any IPS models out there with 1664:1 contrast and I'd much rather than glow-free 1664:1 than any IPS. The screen surface is probably fine, as above. And responsiveness seems fine by me, much better than having loads of overshoot. Will really have to wait for a TFT or PCM review...
