Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've been looking on Amazon for 3.5 hard drive storage case(s) for 4 backup hard drives that I have.
Messages Pelican to see if they are making cases for hard drives still, didn't see anything on their website.
I saw this 5 bay storage case, but it looks pretty cheaply made & doesn't have the...
Thanks for the response. My last issue is that I don't know which 3rd party firmware to put on it. Any suggestion?
Shibby's Tomato 129
NetGear Firmware 1.0.4.30
Kong's DD-WRT
Thanks for the suggestion. I've read some reviews that say the R7000 drops frequently on 5 GHz. Granted, they are only a few bad reviews, but does anyone have experience with the R7000 at 5GHz level?
I'm looking for a new router to replace my Linksys E4200. It overheats. I'll have about 10 devices connected to it (Roku, iphone, ipad, laptop, 5 Android phones etc...). I'd really appreciate a recommendation. Here are some requirements I have:
Requirements:
1) Has to be 802.11 AC router.

I was thinking about buying a particular over-the-bed laptop table and was wondering if anyone happened to purchase it? It looks pretty nice and seems like it would work for using my keyboard and mouse while using my TV for a monitor.

Thank you for the advice. I believe that is what I will do (option 1).
Can anyone tell me what the lowest RPM will be with the FLX model and the asus z77 motherboard?
Also, is there any recommended settings? For example, if temps get to, let's say 50, what should I set the fans to?
I've got all the components for my first PC build ready to go, except for case fans. I'm completely confused on what to do.
I have an Asus Z77 Sabertooth motherboard & Fractal R4 case. I have a NF-F12 PWM fan as a replacement fan for the Hyper 212 EVO.
Now, what I'm confused on is whether...
I need to connect a NF-F12PWM to the Hyper 212 EVO. However, it is my understanding that the CPU_OPT will be controlled in the same way as the CPU_FAN header. That doesn't seem like that will work at all. Wouldn't the 120MM fan on the Hyper 212 EVO need to ramp up more than the two front and one...
Anyone?
Seems like I have three otpions:
options:
1) Control through R4 with 3 fan controller (FLX fans needed)
2) Control through motherboard & ASUS Software (PWM fans needed)
3) Control through splitter & BIOS (PWM fans needed)
What I really want to do is set the fans so that they adjust...
I'm building my first PC ever and I'm confused with some issues regarding case fans.
I want to replace the 2 stock fans that come with the Fractal R4 case with Noctua NF-A14 fans. However, I have some questions:
1) My plan is to put 2 in the front as intake and one in the back as exhaust...
