I've been looking on Amazon for 3.5 hard drive storage case(s) for 4 backup hard drives that I have.
Messages Pelican to see if they are making cases for hard drives still, didn't see anything on their website.

I saw this 5 bay storage case, but it looks pretty cheaply made & doesn't have the greatest reviews:
Amazon.com: iDsonix 5-Bay 3.5-Inch Hard Drive Protective Case Hard Disk Drive Storage Box, Black (IDPA35): Computers & Accessories

I've basically been looking at something getting this but wanted to get some opinions here first:
Amazon.com: NewerTech StoraDrive Anti-Static Case for 3.5" Hard Drives, 2 Pack: Computers & Accessories
I was thinking of putting the hard drives in anti-static bags before putting them in these cases, but I'm not sure that either they'll fit or that the bag is necessary.

Just wondering if there is anything that would be recommended?

Uhm... Shoebox, ESD Bag and some random foam inserts?
Why do you need to store HDDs in the first place?

We run several of the heavy duty Turtle cases at work for LTO tape storage / transport and they are awesome seem to be on par or better then pelican. You might want to check our their 3.5 drive cases just be warned quality usually comes with a higher price.

You can get some of those small individual plastic or silicon hard drive storage cases off eBay/Amazon, and then just pick an appropriately sized Pelican with pick n' pluck foam. They make a lot of case sizes, just figure out how many drives you need to store and how much space you want between them. I haven't used the plastic single drive cases, but I've looked at them in the past for similar ideas. As long as they're static safe they should be just fine.

Another option that is a little cheaper than Pelican but probably sufficient for drives is the Boyt/Cabela's cases. I can't remember if they have pick n' pluck foam though, which would make things a little less convenient.
