    That thing is like 18" long. What the crap...? That would NEVER fit in a regular person's case. My 8800GTX fits into my Lian Li case with about 5mm of clearance between it and the hard drive bays, this card is like 50% longer.

    This happened after you installed the after market heatsink? Did you apply the thermal paste correctly? If that got goofed up it wouldn't really matter how good the heatsink is, 'cuz the heat isn't being transferred there very well at all.

    Yes, there's a molex connector on the board next to the 24-pin, and that is connected. There's also an 8-pin connector on the upper left which was also plugged in.

    Seconding this. Before I built my current computer, I had an AGP Radeon 9800 Pro pushing a Dell 2405FPW without any problems. Not blazing fast, but definitely gets the job done.
