Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
yes im aware of that, thats why i been spamming/checking their monitor page everyday for the past month. And i only seen the 2709 for 599 for one day back in the beginning of the month... When was this "the other day"? And their price always seemed to be ending with a 99, so either 699 or 599...
wow thanks for the reply, that was very helpful. I was a little scared because some people seem to be freaking out cuz of the input lag, some even said they can't even get use to the mouse because of the delay.... But since you use this for professional video editing, i think i will be fine...
quick question for anyone who owns the monitor. I'm currently very tempted to grab this monitor, but sometimes i do some casual movie editing, and music to image sync is very important to me. Now i've read there is lag with the monitor, would that affect my ability to sync the music while making...
awesome, I will stick to this PSU until my i7 build sometimes later this year then. I'll have to get a new psu anyways since it will be a new comp.
Thanks for the replies!
kool thanks for the quick answers guys. I really didn't want to spend an extra 300CAD on the 1000w for the hdd upgrade. But ya i guess i don't have to worry about that now.
Just another question, is it true that its best to run your power supply at 50% usage at all time?

Now, i am currently planning to add two WD 640 AAKs and raid them for a OS/program drive. Also planning to add another 1tb drive in the...
dude, how much of a delay would that transfer to real life time when we are talking about the speed that the "arm" on the hdd moves?...
100mb/s read speed transfers to like a few seconds during actual use, unless you are EXTREMELY anal about ur hdd speed i doubt you will notice any difference...
so... the overall effect isn't that noticeable at all? im currently using seagate.11 500gb one and has average read speed of 68mb/s. I may not upgrade at all if i won't even notice that much difference.
