eod I have a very similar setup to your own - did you give your VM 1 or 2 vCPUs?

    EVGA 8800GTS - should I "step up" to 8800GT?

Thanks for the reply - I thought that the GT ran much hotter than the GTS though? Well I have 8 days left in the step up program so I hope that they add some new cards to the list soon!

    EVGA 8800GTS - should I "step up" to 8800GT?

I forgot to mention that i currently have a 640Mb 8800GTS. I have been checking the EVGA site every few days and so far only the basic model of the 8800GT is available to step up too - and with only a week to go for me on the step up program I am not sure that any other models will be made...

    EVGA 8800GTS - should I "step up" to 8800GT?

I have about a week left on my step up program with EVGA for my 8800GTS ... so I could step up to the 8800GT. I am just not sure about whether this is a good long term upgrade ... sure I will get a boost right now in Quake Wars and so on but if the future is games being demanding in the way...

    Worth waiting for PCI-E x2?

Do you guys think it is worth waiting for PCI Express x2 for a SFF gaming system? It seems to have taken ages for what will hopefully be a decent mAXT board to come out. AMD are planning PCI-E x2 GPU's for May it seems: http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2007/03/01/amd_preps_pcie2_gpu/ But...

Does anyone know this CPU Cooler?

Thanks for the replies guys - it's not either of those. The thing i saw was way smaller that those and the fan was not siutated in any kind of housing above the cpu - the pipes went to the side of the case and the fan attached to the side of the computer case i think.

Does anyone know this CPU Cooler?

I saw a review a while back (can't remember where) for a stand alone cpu cooler that I think was phase/change? Its made up of a part that attaches to the top of the CPU (obviously) and from there heat pipe looking things go to the back edge of the case where a fan and small phase change? unit...

    SFF Power Supplies!

Saving space is always a good idea in a SFF case. If you are building a SFF then take note of the measurements of the components, in this case the PSU and DVD to make sure that they will fit. With a standard PSU the cable management with always be a bit of a pain as the power cables are...

    SFF Power Supplies!

Depends on the case as to wether you can put a standard PSU in - Microfly, for example takes a standard PSU. But yes you can always change PSU.

    8800GTX in a Qpack?

I'd like to see pics of the 8800GTX in the Microfly too - I have just ordered the Microfly and have not decided between the GTX and the GTS yet. I am still waiting for a decent mATX C2D board to come out too :-( Here is a list of parts that I have put together so far...
