A G600 user here. This is a common complaint about the mouse but there is a fix!
Install the Logitech drivers for the G600. In the configuration tool, choose to store the keybinding profiles on the computer instead of on the mouse itself. This should stop the cursor from randomly jumping up.
Despite a few good days of operation on the new motherboard, I've got the crashing to occur again! Gonna fallback to my previous Sandy Bridge setup to let the Z170 platform mature a bit since it seems like several people are encountering these issues.

I haven't even tried to overclock yet, sadly. It's as stock as it can get. In fact, the RAM is being underclocked to the JEDEC standards (it's running at 2133 instead of 2400MHz).
Might just revert back to my 2500k setup for the time being. Swapping out processors / mobos to try and identify the culprit is too much of a hassle. Maybe I'll consider Haswell or just wait for this platform to mature a bit (seeing that a lot of the current motherboards have several issues).
Recently upgraded from a 2500k setup to a 6700k setup and have been encountering hard freezes (requires holding down the power button to reset) that are accompanied with a full volumed buzzing sound (not a repeat of ingame sounds).
System specs:
i7-6700k
ASUS Z170-AR
2x8 GB DDR4-2400 Crucial...
Unless there is something else with the chipset that may be potentially wrong, I don't quite follow your line of thinking. I'm not going to be using any off the affected ports so I don't see any issue until I can receive a proper board in april at which time I'll do a swap.
even if the SATA II ports are broke, I still got four SATA III's!
Here's a near complete build, just waiting for RAM and Optical Drive :)

I'm thinking of going with the vanilla P8P67. I don't mind the different NIC and the limitation to crossfire only. Save myself a bit of cash. Thanks for the help! Especially for the amazon tip.

@Dannybui:
Adding $200 would not be an issue. My main goal is to...
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Mainly for SC2 and Web Browsing. Future games might look promising.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Would like the total to be ~$1000, okay if it's over by a bit.
