I have 2 external 2.5" USB drives that work fine whenever i already have my laptop running and then plug them in, but 95% of the time when i restart my computer i end up having to unplug and plug the drives back in before they are recognised again... what can i do to solve this? it doesnt...

im starting to think its something actually inside the display so that sounds like it could be right... is there any way of fixing this? id like to be able to track down the bad spot and fix it if possible.
