Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hmm, I just got it to boot without any problem again. In my previous tries, I had the power button of my case connected to the board and was using that to switch it on.
I got suspicious after noticing that the PSC sequence looked exactly the same as with successfull POSTs just with the power...
I decided to return the board and ask for a 1:1 replacement, which arrived yesterday. And the board is doing the exact same POST error routine.
When I got the board, i installed it on a cardboard and attached all the peripherals. It booted straight away into windows and I worked on it for a few...
Yes, did a lot of checking and replugging of the connectors and the RAM as well. I run the memory on stock BIOS (i.e. didn't change anything in the BIOS with respect to memory timing). The GPU is always present since the CPU doesn't have a GPU included, so it wouldn't POST without one.
Thanks...
Hello [H],
I built a new rig based on:
Mainboard: ASRock X570M Pro4 mATX
CPU: Ryzen 7 3800X
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L12S in High Clearance Configuration (fan on top of cooler)
RAM: 2 x 32GB Crucial DDR4-3200 (CT32G4DFD832A)
Storage: Intel SSD 660p NVMe
PSU: Silverstone Strider 600W
GPI: GeForce...
Hiya folks,
I am looking for a Z170 based mITX board that has two GigE LAN Ports that an be teamed with 802.3ad (LACP) and also has a Display Port to hook up a display.
The rest of the requirements are pretty standard:
- M2.2280 slot
- PCIe x16 slot
- LGA1151
- 2 x DDR4 RAM Slot
So far, I've...
Ok, thanks. Before I go looking: Any epxerience with such a fan/HS combo on the G33 that works reasonably well and still allows fitting the CPU waterblock and the Grpahics card right next to it?
Hey guys!
I plan to upgrade my rig to a G33 µATX solution. The board I have in mind is the GA-G33M-DS2R. Since some people are saying that their northbridge runs hot especially if OC'ed, I'd like to hear opinions about whether it is worthwhile to include the nortbridge into the loop and which...
Board working: dead, no POST
Ram Company: G. Skill
Ram Model #: 2 sets of F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ (DDR2-800 4-4-4-12), 4GB total
Ram PCB: see above
Ram IC's: D9
Ram Stock Voltage: 2.0-2.1
Ram Voltage as you use it 24/7: running DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 2.1V
Ram Voltage MAX you've used EVER: 2.1V
Probably your BIOS or the AbitEQ is set to generate an alarm if the CPU temp goes out of bounds or if one of the fan's RPM falls out of limit.
I had the same phenomenon, where my watercooling setup did not have a CPU fan connected, but was using the system fan. The BIOs was set to shut down...
My F-I90HD died on me after roughly two weeks of operation, so I guess another board is joining the ranks of the dead ones. Moderate OC with the E4300 running at 329MHz Bus Freq. It didn't require any voltage upping to reach this speed and was running very cool on my watercooled setup.
Tried...
I think you might have your facts reversed. The GBHZ pre-May '06 used Elpida chips, but after May '06 they switched it to Micron D9 (see http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=101762). Unless there is a new development that I am not aware of, yet, of course. :D .
And about the...
I am looking to get either the G. Skill F2-6400CL4D-2GBPK or the G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ. Both of them being 2GB DDR2-800 kits with timings of 4-4-4-12. The former (PK)being a little bit cheaper with Elpida memory chips, while the latter (HZ) is a little more pricey and runs Micro D9 chips...
Hey Guys!
Due to space constraints in my case, I'm looking for a 8800 GTX waterblock that doesn't extend over the top of the card. Is there any of those?
Cheers!
