Was wondering for companies like Seagate, WD etc selling int & ext hdd's,
Are the same model drives used for ext as they are for int? as in exactly the same specs etc?

I have had this pump installed for a couple of years now and never had an issue
It has started to leak very slowly at the bottom, area highlighted in the picture below
Any ideas of how to fix this & what may have caused this to leak suddenly?

I own a LSI SAS 9201-16i, and just bought 2 Seagate 2tb ST2000DM001 HDDs
On boot the card registers the HDD's however when it boots into windows the drives are not accessible. I can see the drive but when you click on it nothing happens.
I tried connected them directly to the motherboard...

Currently have software raid running off an LSI 16 port HBA card. The pc is a E6850 on an x38 mobo with 6gb ram with 10 * 2tb 5900 rpm hdds attached
Will I get any benefit in bandwidth in upgrading this to an i5 2400 H67 mobo with 4gb ram?
