I've never really dealt with rebates... so where can I find the "sales invoice" (where in newegg?? anyone happen to know what they want exactly?) and how do I know I have the UPC bar code from the box?? I dont see anything that says UPC... (i thought it was that bar code thing.. but which of the...
For those of you who have a 30 LCD + more monitors.. what other monitor(s) do you have?
I have heard that 20" wide + 30 " + 20" wide is a really nice setup but I'm wondering how people who have tried other setups liked them (multiple 30", etc)?
I do mostly coding + video editing + photoshop
Any PCI (NOT express) video card capable of driving the Dell/Apple 30" LCD at its max resolution? (2560x1600)? Or at least of driving dual 20"-widescreen LCDs (turned 90 degrees they should be the same size as the 30" right?.. so res would be 1050x1680)
Thanks

Thanks a lot.. so it must actually be the anti-glare coating =-P... I think I notice it less and less now.
Dan thanks for clarifying that as the wfp is known to not have that problem mainly because it doesnt really have that new coating dell used on the HC.
I'm wondering how Skype IN + OUT would compare to a VOIP phone like Vonage where your phone is likely to go down if your internet goes down anyway. It seems that skype in/out would be a cheaper solution so I'm wondering if anyone has completely gone with skype all the way?
I just got a raid 1 setup going ... how would you recommend I partition it (I have my main hd running non raid -- 250gb hd). The two drives running raid 1 are 500gb each.
Also, please not that I have a macbook pro I work on for the most part... so if you have any suggestions as to what I should...
BTW: could you maybe take a picture of yours at a really high res? or at least compare like notepad opened next to something like this forum?
It is not really grainy.. more like "dusty" .. could you get really close to your monitor and examine to see if you see this too? Or is it so sharp that...
Sorry for the confusion.. I meant if I get that close than I can notice it right away.. I dont think i can even use a monitor that big at such close proximity. I am at least 2ft from it at all times.
The max.. 2650 x 1600. Well I considered returning it only because I thought something was wrong with it.. but I got used to it now.. I just dont see why dell added that crazy stuff to it. Don't get me wrong... this monitor is so nice.. but I was just concerned that I might have gotten a...
Okay I'll try, what settings should I use and what resolution would be ideal (for the camera)?
Also, it is quite noticeable when I am like < 1ft away. It also becomes more apparent when I bump the brightness all the way. Lastly, I know the quality on my old 19" (non wide Dell) is much better...
it was hooked up to a mac pro and the resolution seemed to be right though. Maybe calling dell and asking to return it and then compare? I have no dead pixels though... so if it is something that is standard across all monitors could I just keep my old one...
