Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
hey guys i have a friend who has two sticks of 512 mb 3200, and he doesn't want to add another 512 stick because it'll break the dual channel as well as knock it down to 2700. so what would be a bigger performance benefit? add 512 mb or leave it alone?
hate to say it but unless theres been a bios update lately for it (which i don't think there has) then thats a known problem that evga has taken absolutely too much time to even try to fix. apparently all ps2 keyboards do that beep problem, and all ps2 mice act weird too. so find an adapter or...
the thing about that 2kw psu is that it only has one 12v rail so thats prolly gonna be a bummer, i mean one 12v rail running at 78 amps, i remember reading somewhere that thats actually out of spec, not sure why they did that (think they did it to keep the price low by saving on parts)
can anyone confirm if the ps/2 keyboard beeping issue has been resolved?
update: nevermind reading the thread points out that it still hasn't been fixed :-( (u would think that a major flaw like that would have graeter priority)
hey guys I made a thread pretty similar about this and I didn't really get a response or my issue fixed. You see I have an evga 680i board, latest bios, latest version of ntune, and so when I adjust my fsb and press apply the screen just freezes up, nothing responds, just have to do a hard...
my oc results for my p4 d 805 stock 2.6 ghz, highest speed reached on this new board is 4.35 ghz, stable at 4.2 ghz (so far) which is better than my old p5wdg2-ws i think being able to control the memory independently helps, but it still can't reach 4.6 ghz like my asus board could.
personally speaking i can't decide if mine is defective or not, the ps2 keyboard and mouse are erractic when the system is unstable, the keyboard keeps beeping while im typing (known issue i guess) overclocking is great and all but my ntune keeps freezing (might be my video card). so thus far i...
but as another user said if i get rid of my ps2 keyboard then i lose the ctrl+f1 function to turn on the computer, and as an overclocker im constantly turning the comptuer on and off so I need that type of feature, after all it is 'built for enthusiast'
man ive been looking everywhere to find the cause of this mother BEEPING keyboard (pun intended), now i find that it is because i have a ps2 keyboard and it is a known problem? lol wow that is sad, i just hope they can fix this soon bc it is really annoying!
hey guys I have a couple of questions:
1. What is a good program that will give me system tray readings of temperature for the evga 680i? (i tried mbm5 and speedfan)
2. what is a good program to increase my fsb on windows? (i tried clockgen and ntune, clockgen doesn't support the chipset and...
well hold on there mc jig i know evga is better (now thanks to you guys) but theres still the difference between the coolers and the whole board design, i don't know but maybe one design has flaws, maybe one cooler has a better edge, when ur talking about a difference of 10 dollars that would be...
okay so evga it is, now does someone know which one is better n615 or n550 basically the vga port doesn't matter because either way it comes with an adapter, but the coolers are different ill link both pictures and lets see which one you guys think are better:
n615: n615
n550: n550
