1) sign a 2 year contract with ATT
2) pay $100-200 for GS3
3) Sell GS3 on craiglist for $400
4) stop paying bill
5) 2 months later, IMEI gets banned, not...
If you are buying a used phone, there are two major risks:
a) the phone is stolen
b) the phone is tied to a contract that the seller plans on stopping in the future

Every Dell original battery I have ever owned has gone bad around the 13 month mark. I have always replaced them with Ebay batteries, and they last about as long, for 1/3 the price.

Still isn't a Dell or HP 30" with an LED backlight, which seems like a logical next step. Even though it may be a step down in color accuracy, it would certainly make these thinner and cooler.
The U3011 has 23ms of input lag according to flatpanelshd and anandtech reviews. Not the best, and not the worst.

The smoothing you speak of is actually what introduces the input lag you complain about. Any TV (not PC monitor) with 120hz is going to have the same issue.
The SA27950D will give you that effect, without the input lag, if your system is fast enough to push framerates. Take a read through...
There really are not a lot of options for wireless PC headsets. These are amazing for $90, I've been very happy. The only caveat is you may have to move the dongle around to find a spot where it doesn't disconnect every so often.
