It doesn't even have to be stolen, that's the really scary part, and you might not find out for months. I could go out right now and:
1) sign a 2 year contract with ATT
2) pay $100-200 for GS3
3) Sell GS3 on craiglist for $400
4) stop paying bill
5) 2 months later, IMEI gets banned, not...
If you are buying a used phone, there are two major risks:
a) the phone is stolen
b) the phone is tied to a contract that the seller plans on stopping in the future
In each case, there is a strong possibility the IMEI will be blocked on that network. If it's a stolen phone, you can check...

It puts a nice icon in your toolbar to easily switch. I have the same issue, and this is by far the best solution right now.
Every Dell original battery I have ever owned has gone bad around the 13 month mark. I have always replaced them with Ebay batteries, and they last about as long, for 1/3 the price.
No complaints here, just buy from a decent seller.
For those looking for a pot, I would recommend grabbing one with a steamer basket included (bayou classic turkey pots have this option) if you expect you may enjoy the hobby.
The transition to all grain brewing is extremely easy with the brew-in-a-bag (BIAB) technique, and the basket will...
Still isn't a Dell or HP 30" with an LED backlight, which seems like a logical next step. Even though it may be a step down in color accuracy, it would certainly make these thinner and cooler.
The U3011 has 23ms of input lag according to flatpanelshd and anandtech reviews. Not the best, and not the worst.

The smoothing you speak of is actually what introduces the input lag you complain about. Any TV (not PC monitor) with 120hz is going to have the same issue.
The SA27950D will give you that effect, without the input lag, if your system is fast enough to push framerates. Take a read through...
There really are not a lot of options for wireless PC headsets. These are amazing for $90, I've been very happy. The only caveat is you may have to move the dongle around to find a spot where it doesn't disconnect every so often.
Speaking from experience, the Panasonic IPS screens have terrible bleed on red text. I was unsatisfied enough with text quality in general on the Viera that I took it back.
The Samsungs are all *VA, I had one of those also. Text was decent...but it was still night and day vs. a decent IPS...
Legality hinges entirely on the suppliers communicating with each other about orders. If customers are buying fewer panels and inventory is piling up, it's just good business to lower material orders.
The consensus is the only adequate TV that works well as a computer monitor is the 32" LG, either last year or this year's model, LG32D450 or LG32K450. There is a panel lottery, and you need the IPS panel.
Tradeoffs on other TV's are crappy text or high input lag.
I would add text quality to the list of requirements. There are only a few LCD TV's that handle PC text well, and the one's that don't are pretty horrible to read text on (in my opinion).
Generally speaking, there is no content that would take advantage of 120hz input other than a PC, and that's not the target market for LCD TV manufacturers.
The samsung is pretty old, and may be tough to find. I also think the price range is around the Dell and HP.
There really is no such thing right now as an inexpensive 30". The best you can do is one of the Hannspree 28" screens for $400 or so.
HDTV's as PC monitors come down to two main issues:
1) Input Lag
2) Text quality
If you aren't gaming, input lag isn't an issue, but VERY few TV's have adequate text quality, even on par with bad pc monitors. I would suggest if you go this route, make sure you buy it from somewhere you can...
I haven't seen any testing of a 26" TV as a PC monitor, but the LG 32" LE5300 and D450 are regarded as tops in that regard as long as you get the IPS panel.
I have no idea if the 26" LE5300 has IPS or *VA, you are likely blazing a new trail here. You may be better off with a real 27" PC monitor.
There's nothing inherently "better" about edge-lit LED backlight other than energy savings. Try to get your hands on an IPS monitor, and you will most likely be more impressed with the image. HP ZR22w is HP's 22" IPS model.
LG's 32" LE5300 would be the fan favorite as long as you win the panel lottery and get an IPS.
You could also wait and see how this years models stack up. Looks like they will be hitting shelves in the next few weeks.
It should be covered by HP. If you have a problem with stuck or dead pixels, I would go straight to HP. Newegg may charge for shipping. HP will send someone to your house to swap out the panel.
That was my experience with a stuck pixel on a ZR24w I bought from costcentral. Best customer...
The 4:4:4 test on avsforum is pretty black and white, and they claim that it works with DVI-HDMI and no other config. Not sure you can call it placebo.
As for glossy, the only one I know is the Samsung UN32C5000, the 32" LED LCD.
Ok, I have it hooked up. I will agree, text is 95%. I'm somewhat spoiled because I'm coming from an HP 24" IPS panel with amazing text, but the Toshiba is the best of the bunch so far.
I haven't gamed on it yet, but moving the windows around the desktop, lag is not noticeable (on the...
I believe the L32U22 doesn't support 4:4:4.
I had the L32U22 and I thought the input lag was fairly noticeable, and from testing on avsforum, it looks like the panasonic is one of the slower screens out there right now.
That's what I thought, but reading through the threads on avsforum, it definitely matters for 4:4:4. DVI-HDMI is the only way that works. It's VERY picky about the setup in order to get 4:4:4.
I ordered the Toshiba 2 weeks ago, snow delayed delivery until Monday. I'll post here when I get a chance to test it out. I've been through the Panasonic, LG, and 2 Vizio 32" LCD's, all returned because of crapola text. Hopefully this one is better. I will admit, I probably had the wrong...
HP replaced my panel and all I had was one stuck pixel. It was a 5 minute phone call, and 24 hours later I had a tech in my house. I'm still blown away by that.
