Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Need advice on how to apply these MCW30s on my 680i NB/SB. I killed my asus mobo by what was probably crushing the little pains in the asses, now I need to know how you guys do it. Do you put foam spacers underneath them? Do you just not tighten them very much? As is I understand it, all I have...
Only drawback to the thermochills besides the fact they cost a lot is how damned hard it is to mount the things. Saying its a bitch mounting them on a case doesn't do them justice.
Probably going to go with an A1 like ranker suggested, I don't want to get fucked in the future if this happens again.
On a side note, the guy I'm building this for was a very good bit upset. I don't think he understands that I've already put a good 40 hours into and will continue to work on...
Since I basically need a new mobo, what would you suggest out of what EVGA has? Need something that does SLI and has a decent amount of room on it for the NB/SB blocks. Any suggestions?
Here's the pics of everything in a RAR file.

Reseated the CPU and tried it. No dice. I can hear the HDDs powering up when I plug in just the drives. Went to one stick of RAM. No dice. Removed every last component besides the CPU and nothing. I'm going with a dead mobo at this point. Fuck.
Anyone have experience with this particular...
After building the PC cooling system with the parts that I was recommended here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1190070 the machine doesn't post. Doesn't do shit. Powers on, board light comes on, can hear the drives juicing up, and thats it.
Tried disconnecting both 8800s + RAM...
Righto, so one last thing. What should I put in the water? Or rather, what do you guys use in your water? I hear different things on what the liquid should be, 95% this, 5% that, what exactly do you guys use for your loops that you know and trust?
Ready to pull the trigger on this equipment, and this is what I have.
1 x D-TEK FuZion Universal CPU Waterblock - 1/2"

2 x Laing DDC w/ Petra'sTech DDCT-01s Top Combo

2 x Thermochill...
Thank you so much, you guys rock.
I'm probably going to go with the dual loop method, though I'm curious as to why Ranker suggested the D-Tek Fuzion GFX waterblocks + Swiftech's 8800 ram sinks over the EK 8800GTS waterblocks. Is it cost or just preference? The thought of just a few bits of...
I've been lurking for a while and have been reading as much as I can about water cooling the stuff that I have, but I'm still not confident enough to just order the equipment that I've seen.
This is the rig I have to liquid cool:
