DVDs won't play on my computer, please help!!
Both media player classic and VLC are working a little better but there is still noticeable skipping. Downloaded FFDShow as well. I was using WinDVD to play movies but it skips even worse than MPC and VLC.- cslot88

I just made sure that I am in DMA mode, and I tried reinstalling the chipset drivers and I'm still having trouble. I am going to try media player classic next.- cslot88

DVDs won't play on my computer, please help!!
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not... My HP pavillion dv8000 for some reason will not play DVD movies without skipping. I have tried cleaning out my C drive, tried new DVD players (WinDVD, etc) and just about anything else I can think of. CD's play fine, no skipping...- cslot88

Laptop speakers
