Both media player classic and VLC are working a little better but there is still noticeable skipping. Downloaded FFDShow as well. I was using WinDVD to play movies but it skips even worse than MPC and VLC.
I just made sure that I am in DMA mode, and I tried reinstalling the chipset drivers and I'm still having trouble. I am going to try media player classic next.
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not...
My HP pavillion dv8000 for some reason will not play DVD movies without skipping. I have tried cleaning out my C drive, tried new DVD players (WinDVD, etc) and just about anything else I can think of. CD's play fine, no skipping...
I have had a laptop for about 3 or 4 months now, and the speakers are absolutely horrible. I have been making beats on FruityLoops and when I try to create a bass part it can never be heard. Anyway my budget is 50 bucks or less (i'm a poor college student :p ). I have looked at the Alltec...
Yeah I'm probably getting pretty close to the limit. I've got a 60 gig iPod and it's getting full too.
And yes of course you can be my friend. :p You wouldn't believe the amount of friends I've made just from my music library already haha
Hey guys,
I'm thinking about getting a Mac Mini. It's purpose would be to serve as my music machine. I would have iTunes on it, with approximately 10,000 songs. I would also be plugging in a cheap mobo and a keyboard into it to work with Garageband.
So my question is...could a Mac...
I have a feeling my laptop will be travelling with me all over campus, so a lighter one would probably benefit me. I think that I am kind of eliminating Macbook for now, they are really nice looking but I just don't really want to re-learn everything. So now I'm lookin at HP, maybe even a...
Well I need a new mouse for my laptop, but after reading some descriptions of it I doubt it will work for me. Oh well too late now, I already ordered it...
Yeah I've heard Dell's are a decent gaming system too. Not so sure about the Macbook anymore, I'm having second thoughts because I've been trained with Windows and all its applications so I can do pretty much anything, so I might as well stick with that. Thinkpad's are too expensive I see...
Yeah HP is a definite possiblity for sure. I forgot to mention it though, my dad has one and he is pretty happy with it as of now (just got it a couple months ago). Anyway, I'm glad to hear how durable they are, I'm sure mine won't get the best treatment either :)
As of having an Apple...
I'm another high school grad heading off to college, and I need a laptop. Needless to say, it will be used mainly for homework, however I want a laptop that can handle itself if I wanted to play, lets say, UT2004.
I sort of have it narrowed down to 2: Either a Lenovo Thinkpad or a Macbook...
Yeah he's actually not that great of an actor at all. I just like how in every movie he is in, theres going to be some serious ass kicking involved. You know, Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer. Too bad he never cries...
Anyway, I agree with the Windows Me thing. I can't believe anyone...
