Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
it's half off on some sites today. so I took the plunge and just fired it up under dx9 to start with. even if the dx11 is busted right now, it's easily worth the $25.
i just got a G74 BB7 from best buy on a clearance. I wanted something more portable for LANs. I used it a one this weekend. Rock solid. It was the first time I've ever felt like I wasn't cheated by gaming on a laptop. For the price, it was unbeatable. I was considering Sager and MSI as...
I used to use an otterbox and they are great cases. I switched to a white lifeproof for my 4S. It's less bulky that the otter box, so you can actually still put it in your pocket pretty easily. On the otter boxes, I usually cut out the built in screen protector because I hated the air...
Did you play through borderlands? I am primarily an FPS gamer. I don't have the patience or time for RPG's, but Borderlands was like crack for me. Definitely got my moneys worth on that game before even touching co-op with friends.
I'm one of those people that have been on the fence about upgrading things on my pc. i opted for the gpu first, and now I'm looking at the I5/I7. I'm leaning towards I7 simply because having the extra kick can't hurt and I am seeing now that I will be doing more with my pc than just gaming.
if it's a dual core and 2 gigs of ram, I'd say that is good for WoW. I gave one of my friends my old 6800gt for his sempron setup to run WoW. It works. So I think you would be in good shape with the cards that were previously recommended.
system specs would help. odds are if your friend is less than ambitious, I'd consider checking to see if his any areas, especially the heatsinks on the cpu/gpu are clogged with dust...
If you are deadset on the 400 series, I'd hold off for a bit and see if the GTX460 shows up and ends up being worthwhile. It might be a better fit for your needs.
One of my friends recently purchased an LG that has the Netflix streaming. Router was in the room, so we just ran it through ethernet. Picture quality was great. I don't like leaving the PS3 on for extended periods of times. The advantage of the PS3 over a normal blu ray player (aside from...
I wouldn't swap out 2 5850's for one 5870. Are you having issues running crossfire? Even a refresh likely won't give you a worthwhile upgrade from what you have.
Ya know, he hasn't come back yet...I figured by now there would at least be something from him. Maybe even a mobile update...Perhaps he turned it on and it just created a blackhole. Anyone know where he lives? Maybe there is a time capsule from the future..."System runs great guys! See ya in...
I played the demo, but wasn't sold enough to by the game. I used to play the first one a lot with buddies at LAN's, but the second one just didn't make it into the rotation.
