    Try using your brain here. Pause a movie at a part where there is some motion and the frame isn't going to be crystal clear. Take a frame from a game at any time and it will be.

    If you have the cash I'd say buy an extra 400 gig right off the bat or use one of the 8 as a hot spare. I know it would suck to have one fail then by chance another one go out while you are getting the first messed up one RMAed.

    Thanks for the replies so far. I just got concerned that maybe Plextor wasn't quality anymore because of the rebadges and other negative reviews (which were likely user error anyway.) I don't mind spending the money but I don't like to be stupid with money. Just needed some reassurance.
