That's what I was suspecting. I feel like they should call it something else instead of "brightness". Brightness' definition is how much light coming out of it, which is closer to the monitor's backlight. The "brightness" here isn't the same as the actual monitor's "brightness". I also looked up...
I saw the nVidia control panel has the ability of adjusting the brightness and contrast. I wonder how does it achieve that? I thought HDMI/Displayport only output the color code of each pixel to the monitor, and the brightness and contrast is controlled by the monitor setting. Is this not true...
This makes me remember that my Dell U2413 had this issue that it would black screen and came back to normal after 1 second. Also, my old BenQ FP241W would also flash screen randomly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0Y8CMC5_qI). Both issues were reported by number of people, but still number of...
Have you tried to play around the BF3 graphic settings to see if anything would help on this problem? Lowering resolution, lowering graphic quality, or change refresh rate.
I seem to recall that for some older BenQ models, people have reported the same issue, and after disable the flickering-free technology(I know this is funny), the problem went away. Have you tried that?
Does anyone know if HDMI mode on this monitor goes to sleep mode after I shutdown my PC?(or diconnect the cable) I ask this because I know some of the BenQ monitors like v2400w does not have sleep mode when using under HDMI mode. BenQ seems to treat some model's HDMI mode as TV mode, so it does...
I am about to make the purchase of this monitor.
One question, does anyone know if HDMI mode on this monitor goes to sleep mode after I shutdown my PC?(or diconnect the cable) I ask this because I know some of the BenQ monitors like v2400w does not have sleep mode when using under HDMI mode...
I noticed that when I shut down my computer, I will see a message saying "no signal detected" then the monitor will go into standby mode. I wonder if that is normal. I have the BenQ V2400W. Thanks.
Some cards like the nVidia 760, 770, 780 are using the 8-pin power cable. I am wondering are they the same kind of power cable as the 8-pin used in motherboard? Thanks.
I am trying to connect my CPU fan to power supply directly, so my motherboard CPU fan is unplugged. Will the Asus motherboard complain when I boot up? I seem to recall some old model would give an error saying No CPU fan detected. Thanks.
I plan to extend the USB ports. I currently already have a 4-port USB Hub. If I buy another USB Hub and plug in on my current USB Hub, will it work? Or they have to be plug into ther motherboard directly? Has anyone tried it before?
Thanks.
I do leave my computer on 24/7 (for my other computers to access files). But I don't do a lot of reads/writes, only about 500MB-1GB a day. Do I need the RE?
