    I'd go with the Antec P180 + 5 Yate Loon 120mm fans voltmodded to 5v (Its pretty easy I believe) as your case instead. I'd get out of that Abit board and use an ASUS P5B/K Deluxe Board or a Gigabyte 965P board (The 965P-DS3 rev 3.3 can handle the quad and is a bargain) Everything else...

    I actually like the raptor, unless your spending $250 on one. I got mine on the cheap, and it makes my rig blazing fast. If you got the budget, its nice. Just dont get the X version if you want quiet.

    Rev 3.3 on that Gigabyte mobo i reccomended offers support for 1333 fsb and quad core. But saving money isnt something yall are interested in :) -- Just my take. (Im also not familiar with the high-end computing market)

    I swapped the HDD out for a new raptor, and it works. I assume the HDD was dead. thanks for all the help!

    The SATA already has a good install of windows on it, and I cant install windows on top of it because windows does not recognize the HDD. Could it be possible that the Sata chip / all 6 connectors are fried on my motherboard yet it still works?

    I used an old IDE HDD and it worked. However, my SATA HDD is still not working. Could it be the SATA Chip on the Motherboard or is it the HDD?
