Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks, I checked it out and the pci version appears to do it based on the second spec line below, but it's not explicitly stated anywhere.

Hey'all,
I just installed an older tv tuner card (analog cabe input) in my HT system with the audio out going to the aux in on my Chaintech AV-710 sound card. This is hooked to an Onkyo receiver via the SPDIF optical out. The problem is, the card does not do A=>D conversion on the A inputs...
Onboard sound is pretty good these days, I'm using it on my latest build, for the first time, and I'm happy with the sound. I've tried onboard before and the digital output was good but the analog was crap. Music is more important to me than gaming also. So, I would try the onboard and see how...
actually, the corsiar vx450W would be more than enough for that system, but you can get the vx550 for only $4 more, so take your choice.

u still shoul b able to boot the drive on the old MB, then uninstall the chip drivers and put it back in the new system. a repair install is more painful than a fresh install in my experience. only repair if you have programs u absolutley need but u don't have the CD or can't get it any other way.
That system will probably need less than 150 W under full load, so as long as the power supply you want is accurately rated, it should handle it no problem. It's a cheap supply though so the rating might be questionable.
if u r using many components i found no advantage to modular because you wind up using almost all the connectors anyway. also, there's a voltage drop and power loss across the modular connectors.
tiraides is correct. all you need is the ide and power cable. it's called digital audio extraction. it's software dependent. that is, the os and playback software have to support it. windows has supported it since 98SE and mediaplayer 7. it's the default for xp. here's some more info...
