Soundcard options for A=>D input conversion

Hey'all,

I just installed an older tv tuner card (analog cabe input) in my HT system with the audio out going to the aux in on my Chaintech AV-710 sound card. This is hooked to an Onkyo receiver via the SPDIF optical out. The problem is, the card does not do A=>D conversion on the A inputs, so the signal on the aux input does not come out the SPDIF. Older drivers for the card have a recording loopback A=>D option, which puts the A input to the D output, but this introduces an annoying noise into the system. More recent drivers have eliminated this option. I have to run a separate analog cable to another input on the receiver. So, the question is: what sound cards are available that convert the A input to D output and has an internal aux or CD input?

I think an EMU 0404 USB will do that. The PCI version...maybe.

Thanks, I checked it out and the pci version appears to do it based on the second spec line below, but it's not explicitly stated anywhere.
