i've been using the G9 mouse for about 3 months and recently the back button started acting wierd. i'm getting double clicks back and 1/2 clicks where the loaded web page clears but the previous one doesn't load until u click again. if i use setpoint and change setting from generic button to back it clears up for a while but then starts again and i have to change it back to generic and so on. so i've stopped using setpoint and it seems to be ok now. aybody else have bad experiences with this mouse?

I have been using it now for 1 week and I am enjoying it. I don't think my short experience with it can shed any light on your problem though.

Although, I had a very similar problem when I was using my G5. I would see if you have the most up-to-date SetPoint software.

For the last couple weeks I've been having a real problem with the scrolling on the g9. Scrolling up seems to be worse than down, but I can't find a resolution. It seems to have started after a setpoint update, but I can't be sure about that. I've even removed setpoint and allowed vista to handle the scrolling and there was no change. So maybe it's a mechanical issue. I can't feel the 'clicks' on the scrolling... it's just not engaing in the programs ... (mozilla .. multiple games)
