I have a Virtual PC setup with Vista, and I am trying to get it to display 1920x1080 on my new monitor, but it only let's me go as high as 1600x1200. Any ideas on what I need to do to get it to display 1920x1080? I have set "Allow any screen resoultion" in the settings. Thanks.

Having a couple weird power issues with my computer. One time it wouldn't wake from sleep. So I unplugged and plugged it back in and started up fine.

I currently have a password lock when the computer wakes from screen saver. My biggest concern was for my external drives or someone just popping out my laptop hard drive and hooking it up externally to extract it's information. Does TrueCrypt impact IO performance at all?

Yea I kind of figured. Well going to go through the process of RMAing and hopefully that fixes the problem. I always thought Samsung made quality products, but I seem to have to send everything i get from them in for warranty. 2 hard drives and now a ODD.
Disc is not scratched. I have tried like 4 different discs. Have had this problem since I installed the drive. So I am wondering if my drive is bad, or if Blu Ray is just a PITA for everyone. DVDs play fine.
Hey guys, I have a Samsung SH-B123L blu ray drive. When I put in a blu ray disc, it takes about 5 minutes or so for the disc to get recognized by Windows. The blu-ray drive is trying to read the disc this entire time. I have the latest firmware. Is this normal?

The thing about MSE full scan is if the person has a laptop it won't finish or it will take a long time too since the person typically closes the laptop when they are done.
Or do you guys just set up there laptops to not sleep? I am pretty sure MSE only starts the scan if the computer is on...
