You should use it as a portable storage device. No worries about batteries. Each time you plug it into the computer, it will receive power from the USB/Firewire port.
At newegg.com, there are ATI selling their own video card, but also Sapphire, HIS, etc. that sells the same card "Made by ATI".
Those that are by Sapphire, etc. have a lower price than by ATI. What is the difference and what can I expect from them? crapper quality? or is it more expensive...
