I purchased two different RAM sets, both are by Corsair, but one set is 2x 512MB PC3200 (ValueSelect), the other set is 2x 1GB PC3200 (XMS).

My motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130038) says that it supports dual channel. The slots are color coded, it's like green, purple, green, and purple.

These two sets were originally for two different system, but now it's only going to be used on one system. Should I put them all in? or only one of the pairs?

From the motherboard manual:

DIMM Module Combination
Install at least one DIMM module on the slots. Each DIMM slot supports up to a maximum size of 1GB. Users can install either single- or double-sided modules to meet their own needs. Users may install memory modules of different type and density on different-channel DDR DIMMs. However, memory modules of the same type and density are required while using dual channel DDR, or instability may happen.

That last sentence made it very confusing. My knowledge is that "dual channel" means having two of the same memory modules in the same set of slots (green and green or purple and purple). This means that if I want to use "dual channel", I need to have 1 pair or 2 pairs of the same modules of the same type and density, correct?

Because I have two sets of modules with two different densities, I'm worried.
