    Does anyone know if I buy a SATA II drive if it will still work on a drive that only has SATA I? I just dont want to order it to find out that it will not work

    I am buying a WD2500KS hard drive and I wanted to make sure that the cable also supports 300MB/s (3.0Gbps). I dont know if the Secure Connect (WDSC50RCW) cable is rated to 150MB/s (1.5Gbps) or 300MB/s (3.0Gbps). Do I need to find a high speed cable like a Silverstone SATA II Cable Model...
