I am buying a WD2500KS hard drive and I wanted to make sure that the cable also supports 300MB/s (3.0Gbps). I dont know if the Secure Connect (WDSC50RCW) cable is rated to 150MB/s (1.5Gbps) or 300MB/s (3.0Gbps).

Do I need to find a high speed cable like a Silverstone SATA II Cable Model SST-CP01 and should not get any that say 150MB/s (1.5Gbps)?

I cannot seem to find any good cables that are SATA II and have a 300MB/s (3.0Gbps) maximum transfer rate.

1. The cables are universal.
2. The drive can't even approach 150MB/sec, much less 300MB/sec.
