Steam's review scores do not count "received for free", "gifted", or "free weekend", reviews in it's scoring, only games that were purchased and owned. It leaves the review themselves up with a note if it was free, or refunded. This is probably... -

I mean mobile gaming is just ass, nothing but slop and "pay to do anything" games. Just noting that when Steam decided not to hand-curate who was allowed on, it lead to a big increase of the amount of slop widely available. Doesn't mean anyone...

This is one of the benefits of the convergence of architecture as consoles become more PC-ish hardware wise. Its a matter of breaking though some of particulars of the platform (which some of the Sony leaks a few years back helped regarding)...

Steam doesn't push the slop that gets put for sale. The front page tends to recommend positively reviewed games like DeltaRune, Oblivion Remastered, and games I never heard of like Megabonk. The king of slop is on Android and iOS. Roblox is on...
