    What would you do?

I am basicly upgrading my computer to get better FPS in css. I currently get 100+ fps at all times except when their are 5+ people in my screen. Then it drops to 60-70. My current system is a x2 4200 slightly overclocked. A 6800 ultra AGP, 2 gigs of ram. I have a p5b motherboard that...

Do you get the "its not big anymore syndrom"?

That must look like crap at 480i/p. Unless you have a scaler? Then by all means thats elite!

I Need To Plug An RGB Cord Into A Flat Screen Monitor

Its a small plug that converts vga to dvi. Sure its ghetto and quality loss does happen to a small degree, but for a church it SHOULD work fine.

Using a 40 foot extension on my VGA plug for monitor, is it ok to do so?

This is fine. You might need an extron rgb to boost the signal if its too weak. THanks

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

Phosphor cannot have dead pixels. They can have burn, or screwed up phosphor. Thats it. It could have a spot burn, but I VERY rarely see that in crt monitors... especially not the fw900. Im willing to bet that this dead pixel you see is something else.

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

The only thing that limits a crt's resolution is its electronics. And that resolution wont even make the fw900 break a sweat. It will work fine.

I Need To Plug An RGB Cord Into A Flat Screen Monitor

And yes this should be possible. If it is vga you can get a simple converter plug, 3 dollars or so to do a reasonable job of this. If its rgb rgbhv or rgbh-v then this can still be done but you mught be making a custom cable to turn it into vga. If you dont want to make a cable you can get...

I Need To Plug An RGB Cord Into A Flat Screen Monitor

Is it 5 seperate bnc cables consisting of R-G-B-H-V(5 cables) or is it RGB(3 cables) or is it R-G-B-HV(4 cables) OR is it RGB in the form of a vga cable? Need to know that before it can be specifically answered.

Advice - Best and Cheapest Projector for my needs

If you dont mind the humongous size check craigslist or ebay for a crt projector. I just got a Marquee 8500 for 500 dollars and it will without a doubt destroy the living sh1t out of any lcd/dlp projector for less than 8 grand (and many that cost more than that). They last longer too (10000...

21 Inch Trinitron - refurb yourself

Only do this if you are suffering from an overbright screen that CANNOT get acceptable black levels by adjusting the brightness. If yours doesnt do that, dont do the fix. This is insanely easy to do... also if you cant find the right resistors just use two or three in a series to get close.

    FW900 or 2005FPW

People argue all of these small points to justify the 500+ they wasted on their lcd HAHAHA

    FW900 or 2005FPW

I find it laughable when I see an idiot spending 500 dollars on a LCD monitor at frys when I know I could go on criagslist and get a used 21 trinitron crt that would blow it away for 60$. Just goes to show you that people will go for "stylish and modern" over sheer performance.

21 Inch Trinitron - refurb yourself

This fix is insanely easy. The hardest part is getting the case off, seriously. The soldering is very simple, I could have done it when I was 12.
