Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
A week ago there was a power surge in my house and two computers ended up with fried motherboards where they would start to boot into Windows and then simply reset. I built a replacement last night using some cheap, old parts and install Windows perfectly fine (it was plugged into the same surge...

On occasion, my PC will be a little slow to power on and I will have to hold the button for a couple of seconds. Sometimes, the light on the case just comes on but nothing else until I turn off the power supply and turn it back on. I had my CPU and RAM overclocked from 2.0 to 2.4 for a year or...
I believe theres an update that fixes the washed out look of the VGA because mine looks perfect, alot better and sharper than my friend's LCD TV hooked up with component in 720P.
Would this be a smart purchase? I have my 360 hooked up to my Viewsonic VX2025wm through VGA and run it at 1360x768 which would be slightly above 720p if I'm not mistaken. Would I even notice any visual difference since I wouldn't be watching it at 1080i or 1080p?
my friend is having problems with Vista, it is in "test mode" and will not get out of it, he is using Vista Home Premium. He is also having a problem where Vista randomly stopped detecting his dvdrw drive, however BIOS still detects it.
I'm just wondering what these updates actually are. It doesn't say for most of them so naturally, I think that it's garbage to bog XP down to try and push XP users to Vista.
I noticed that XP is downloading alot of updates lately, and it's probably just me but XP seems to feel slower, are these pointless updates that are only there to slow me down until I upgrade to Vista? I heard of a similar case with pirated versions of XP but I don't know.
