    Update: I managed to get the system to boot after changing the DVI connection, but now I get the error "setup.exe is not a valid win32 application" when trying to install drivers from the mobo CD. What does this mean?

    Just out of curiosity, why would the system boot using the onboard graphics vs a dedicated card? The PSU is good as I'm using it right now in my old system, Unless the 8-pin connector is somehow defective.

    The power supply seems like it wants to start up, the fan starts to spin for half a second and then stops. I'll try connecting the DVI and see what happens.
