I got a 2223 at BB and a 2216 at OD, returned 2223 because of the exact same problem you had. The 2216 has great movie detail, I watch most movies on my Xbox 360 through the VGA port and the image quality is outstanding. If you return the 2223 give a 2216 a try, OD has had good prices on them...

From what I've read, the difference in benchmarked speed from an Nforce4 based board is currently about 5%. In real world use is this really going to be something you would notice? As for the PCI-E, everything I've read says it works just fine. I would be intrested in seeing this info about...

I just got one of these boards this week, and it's great. It has booted up every time with no problems, about the quickest motherboard upgrade I have ever done. So far I am very happy with it!!
