    Sandy Bridge 1155 isnt really meant to replace the high end or enthusiast segment, however Sandy Bridge 2011 is. According to this article http://www.semiaccurate.com/2010/04/15/intels-patsburg-replace-x58-2011/ the x68 chipset will have PCI express 3.0, 40 lanes worth to be exact.

    I'm a Corsair guy now, but OCZ had some really cool looking ram haha. I had the gold and the platinum sets for my i7 and they looked slick.

    I'm sick and tired of fan noise

    This may be a little unorthodox, but you could use noise cancelling headphones. I use Beats Studios, because my case has 7 Ultra Kaze 3000rpm fans running. They work like a charm.
