Hey guys. I'm about to build my next rig, but after alot of researching I find myself at the ATI Nvidia crossroad. I've been leaning towards either 2 X800XL GTO2's or a 7800 GTX. I can see myself being happy either way, but then I think of the R520 coming and again, I am stumped. Any words...

Life is pain. I just threw in an Antec 430w true power 12v 2.0 with 17A. This one has 24 pins and the 4 pin pci-e power, but it has a 6pin power cord that says PCI-e on it. Fans and lights, no video.

I had a diff post about my shipping fiasco (insured, but I'd still lose money if I followed though), but I'm gonna head out and pick one up right now and see if it does the trick. Thanks for the info man.

thats my psu and my specs listed above have been the same since day one. do you think the converter would do that trick?

under the +12v it says 14.0A. but this psu had been working for almost 2 months until now I read the specs and i checked out the psu faq and I'm wondering how it ever worked to begin with. Also I noticed the red switch on the back of my psu and it was a 115v mode and a 230v mode, could this...

Thats what I used, every corner is covered in foam and the case is 1 inch deep on all sides, the fact that it came in such bad shape boggles my mind.

No main, it was screwed in very tight, but it has a dent on it and it was cracked to the left. Someone messed with it. No joke!! :mad:

Long story short, I stupidly mailed my comp throught the usps, and low and behold, they beat the living hell out of it. My heatsink (100% Copper) completely bent to the left, my hard drive just hanging out, and to top it off my x800xl pci-e was aparently just flying around the case from arizona...
