Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Well, first let me say, this monitor rocks every bit as much as people said it did. Colors are incredible, monitor itself looks very nice, and I love the size. As for page computers, I changed my order Wednesday morning with them (no issues) and changed to 3 day shipping...I got my monitor...
Ok, when I ordered yesterday, for some reason the all silver one didn't show up, which is the one that was lower in price. I changed my order today and with 3 day shipping it was 658. I was told I would have it at the lastest by next Tuesday so I will let you know how it goes. As far as their...
Well, I found one of these for $659 at Page Computers ($678 shipped) so I will post my impressions once it arrives. It looks sweet, I can't wait to try it out.

You can check out www.abscomputers.com, they make a laptop with desktop Athlon 64 processors and also a line with the Turion which is the mobile equivalent. One of the Crown computers on powernotebooks.com is built with Turions as well. You can also check www.ibuypower.com and check out the...
Well, I'm not sure what you guys do to your laptops that causes them to not play games anymore after a year and a half, but my Hypersonic with 9700pro that I bought two years ago still plays whatever games I want (including Doom 3). Hostile also never said anything about giving up his regular...
You have to buy the one that comes from Amazon to get the rebate. If you buy from one of the other stores, through Amazon, you won't get the rebate.

I think we would have just seen prices come down as they improved manufacturing processes. The image quality was about as good as it could get, but for that quality, you had to pay a hefty price for a large screen (on top of the fact it was, literally, hefty). Just my speculations ;)

If you go to Froogle and type in "21" crt" I actually found quite a few places that still carry some good monitors (non-aperature grill though). I am returning to Arizona when I get out of here, so I will probably drive up to azatech and check out their refurbs. If I don't find anything I...
I was on outpost.com and saw they had a refurb Dell aperature grill trinitron 21" monitor and I got excited for about 7 seconds until I saw that it is "currently unavailable". I have read a few of the horror stories here too, but I figure Fry's should be pretty good for refurbs.

Thanks for posting that Fuzzy, it's nice to see an honest response on monitors once in a while. I'm not against LCDs (I'm still deciding what kind of monitor to get for my new system), but I often lament the fact that no one really makes good CRTs anymore; you just can't beat the clarity. It's...
If your friend is still looking, I would also look at the PowerPro laptops at powernotebook.com and hypersonic-pc.com. PowerPro laptops use the same base as either the Asus or Sager notebooks and have a 3yr warranty, and Hypersonic uses the same base laptops as Sager, and generally offer a...
Gentlemen,
I currently have a Hypersonic Laptop; it kicks butt, but it's way too big (17"WS desktop replacement). I'm looking for a good, sturdy laptop (it will be traveling) that I can game on in the $1500-$1700 range. I have already configured a pretty nice set-up at Hypersonic to replace...
