Gentlemen,
I currently have a Hypersonic Laptop; it kicks butt, but it's way too big (17"WS desktop replacement). I'm looking for a good, sturdy laptop (it will be traveling) that I can game on in the $1500-$1700 range. I have already configured a pretty nice set-up at Hypersonic to replace this one, but I was wondering what else is out there. It would need to play stuff like DAoC, Guildwars, DS 2, etc. I had a Dell Inspirion 8100 a while back, which was ok, but the top wasn't very sturdy (I also had some issues with it). My current laptop is very solid, and I would like another like it but with a max 15.4"WS and in the 6lb or less category. If I could get closer to the $1500 mark but still get a quality machine, that would be great. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

If you can wait the Asus W3j is allegedly going to be out by the end of april. 14.1" wxga, 100gig 5400 rpm, core duo 1.6ish, 1gig of ddr2, oh and x1600 radeon mobility. price is suposed to be some where around 1,700
