Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
There was a series of pictures here some years ago of a guy who put together a computer out of old broken parts and had water splashign all over it- on the other side of the waterproof case was the actual computer (with more conventional watercooling :) )
Google has failed me.
Does anyone...
My problem with Ghost may as well be karma... but after the string of failures I've had with it, I just can't bring myself to isntall everything, get everytghing tuned up, then use Ghost to wreck the image so that I can start again. It's failed me three times in a row.
Thank you for the...
I have had really lousy luck working with Norton Ghost. It seems like every time I try to use it, the best I can hope for is a wasted hour or two, and the worst was the destruction of the data on the source drive. Their technician's technical skill was matched only by the amount of care that he...
I have no pics, but I used a 2-gallon aquarium (with plastic fish) for a few years. The currents from the water kept the fish moving around, and I had the aquarium on a windowsill during the winter to advance cooling.
Now, I'm building a pedestal that will have the res, pump and rad all...
Sims 2 has two folders- one in program files, on in my documents. I don't know the logic behind that but if you back up both sets of directories you should avoid sleeping on the couch.
Well, maybe bigger platters. If you still have a 5.25" Bigfoot drive, it may take longer than its smaller, more modern cousins :)
OP, get whatever data you still need off the drive and RMA it. I've personally had dismal luck with WD RMAs but whatever you get is likely to be better than what...
Eight inches... I may wind up buying one of them and turning it down a smidge on a lathe, as I don't have 8" of space. Thank you.
edit: 4.5A. Wow. Maybe a bit more than I need :)
I just build a pedestal to hold my watercooling equipment (having learned the hard way that putting the radiator on top of the case, no matter how cool it looks, is fvcking stupid! ). I have about 7.5 inches of space for a fan. I want this to be quiet, so filling the space with...
I have graphics problems that made me drop the quality to 800x600x16- if I set the graphics higher than that the pedestrians all vanish! Makes a firefight a wee bit more difficult.
My graphics card is an old dog, yes- an 8500- but I would have expected something more subtle as an error.
