Even if you look at the pictures it is obvious that it isnt a TN panel.
And none of the people who have seen it live believe it is a tn.
And LG says it is no tn.
Therefor are those claims rather ridicolous.
LG says IPS. What they say about a monitor with different specs on another market isnt intresting. Different panels for different markets is not something new.
Toasty. It is actually funny to read your comments. I believe in users who actually have seen how it performs. And they say it is much better than a TN panel.
If you slag off a monitor just because you dont like a photograph from an extreme angle there must be something wrong with you considering the competition for 27 inch monitors.
A guy at overclock.net allready has it. He says it is a great monitor for the money.
It is an UH-IPS panel. Higher contrast than standard-IPS, and lower powerconsumption but less good viewing angles.
