Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If this doesn't work, make sure your voltage is RAM voltage is set correctly in BIOS. I had the same problem and realized that my RAM voltage was 1.9V but the BIOS comes set at 1.8V so I couldn't even get into BIOS!!
I installed one stick of RAM that had the correct voltage so I could at...
I just found out that my AMD (AM2) motherboard's BIOS chip only supports RAM voltage up to 1.8V. My OCZ RAM that I have installed is 1.9V so MSI is shipping me a new BIOS chip that will support the higher voltage.
Has anyone else run into this problem?
I just found this out for myself. Installed new MSI K9N mb with OCZ DDR2 800. Wouldn't POST for the life of me...

Also, with OCZ you need to install only...
I just spoke with the 4th person at MSI and we finally figured it out. My BIOS voltage only supports 1.8V memory. My OCZ is 1.9V...
They are sending me new BIOS chip which should fix the problem
Thanks for the responses :)
Thanks for the "heads-up", I just posted my sig. Also, I just spoke with MSI and they recommended doing a CMOS reset and checking my RAM.
I'll try that and post how it worked.
I just finished connecting all of my hardware for my new PC and when I start the system up I don't get any beeps or anything which is weird because I don't have an OS installed yet. Also, I don't get any script showing up on my monitor, it just remains black.
I have the following motherboard...
You shouldn't have a problem unless you're running 10K RPM HD's. The 7200 and lower are built to be run warm.
Also, aren't those two from 80mm the intake? Where are you relocating your intake? Just a thought... :)
I'm picking up my new processor this evening (4200) and was wondering if I will need any thermal gel? I know that some processors use the pre-applied stuff so you just peel off the strip and you're good to go.
Anyone know how AMD handle's this? I'd like to pick it up on the way home if I need...
That's what I figured. I should have looked into the fan assembly more before I purchased. Oh well, I'm not planning on OCing very much so I'll leave well enough alone.
Thanks much for the reply,
