Question about LianLi case (Cooling)

Hello all,
This is my very first post here at HardForum. I'm building my first rig and just recieved the last of the following components:

- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4200+ Socket AM2
- Lian Li PC-60USB
- MSI K9N Platinum Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra
- eVGA 256-P2-N567 Geforce 7900GT KO Superclocked
- OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 SDRAM
- WD Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB
- NEC DVD Burner
- Dell 2405FPW 24" Wide LCD

My question is this: The case comes with (4) 80mm fans (2-front, 1-top, 1-rear) but I've heard that I should upgrade one or two of these, to 120mm fans, to minimize noise and increase airflow. Is this a non-issue or should I look into upgrading the fan situation?

Thank you in advance from a quick-learning novice... :D

IMO it depends on your goals for your computer. If you're looking to overclock the crap out of everything, chances are you're going to want some pretty major air flow through your case, if you're just looking to run a nice pc, chances are you're going to want something quieter.. If you can fit a 120mm in there (can you? I don't think you can without some pretty major modifications), then go for it. I don't think it's an issue unless you are looking to gain something (quietness)..

That's what I figured. I should have looked into the fan assembly more before I purchased. Oh well, I'm not planning on OCing very much so I'll leave well enough alone.

Thanks much for the reply,

The dual 80mm fans can be quiet and push a decent amount of air, If you have two in the back and two in the front, just 7volt them or 5 volt them, it'll run near silent and push a very acceptable amount of air. It's probably overall slightly more noisy than a single 120mm fan, but the CFM should be pretty close. You've got yourself a fine case, no need to worry about it ;)
